On Thursday evening, July 1st, we’ll once again revel in the creation of uplifting and joyful music at the enchanting Throckmorton Theatre in downtown Mill Valley, CA.
After a seemingly interminable period of dormancy in live performance, we can look forward to embracing our interconnectedness through music and just being together.
Please join vocalist Deborah Winters, pianist Frank Martin, bassist Sascha Jacobsen and percussionist Ian Dogole for an evening of creative, improvised music that is sure to resonate and elate.
The music will be panoramic – from the Afro-centric music of Randy Weston to a fresh interpretation of a Sting favorite to a Tango-inspired original composition to Ian’s original piece for the hang (Swiss melodic percussion instrument) that pays homage to two John Coltrane classics … and beyond. The program will be reflective of a truly collaborative vision for this event – every musician is the leader.
If you plan to attend in person, we can't wait to see your faces and feel your collective energy in the house. If you're joining us online, we so appreciate your participation and support and we hope you have an uplifting and memorable experience wherever you may be on the planet.
NOTE: For those of you in the Eastern time zone, we moved our starting time up one hour so that you wouldn’t have to stay up all night to watch the show.
See you on July 1!
